Ro Barrett is a versatile songwriter, vocalist, musician and producer, skilled as a lead and acoustic guitarist, an intuitive melodic bassist and pianist. Born with perfect pitch, Ro has been immersed in music since childhood, always dreaming of recording his own songs. He first picked up a guitar at age 5 and began performing regularly as a bassist in his father's band at just 14.

 

In his 20s, Ro honed his craft on the Irish pub circuit in Germany as a singer and guitarist, while also collaborating with various bands and projects—a journey that continues today as a working musician.

 

Recorded at Studio22 in Germany, he released his debut album "Boredom Killer" in 2004, followed by "Alter Ego," recorded at Parr Street Studios and released in 2013. His unplugged single "Looking for Something" was captured in a single take after a late-night vocal session, though it wasn’t to be released until 2018.

 

Recording at Saltwell Studio in Cambridgeshire for Ro’s third studio album is now complete, and will be released in 2025. There may even be a limited edition vinyl album for the collectors and connoisseurs amongst you! For more info and updates, please give Ro a follow on ze socials!
